Roberta MacDonald is our Amazing Woman today. She was the first Weather "Girl" on the Today Show, followed by Barbara Walters. She got her first role in a Broadway Play at 15, and had a great role in "South Pacific". She was followed by Shirley Jones.

She and her husband Robert  Turoff will celebrate their 52nd anniversary next month. They ran the Golden Apple Dinner Theatre for 43 years. Roberta loved every minute of it. But life wasn't always easy. She had cancer twice, also two hip replacements and shoulder surgery.

When the Golden Apple Dinner Theatre closed she was crushed. But she's back and tonight she, her husband Bob and Daughter Kyle will be kicking off a campaign to fund a building to house  their new not for profit theatre "Plato"
