LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Jenni Rivera has had her final homecoming.

The remains of the Mexican music superstar arrived at Long Beach Airport by private jet on Thursday evening. Her casket was then driven to a mortuary, where dozens of fans waited.

Other fans gathered outside her family's home in nearby Lakewood, where well-wishers have left a memorial of photos, candles and flowers.

Rivera and six other people died Sunday evening when a plane she was traveling in nose-dived to the ground while flying from Monterrey in northern Mexico to the central city of Toluca.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
