PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police are seeking tips after someone in a black, four-door sedan with tinted windows opened fire on a crowd of people surrounding the tour bus of rapper French Montana after a concert in Philadelphia.
One person is dead and another is hurt after the shooting, which happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday at a hotel near Penn's Landing.
Homicide Capt. James Clark said Friday police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the person firing shots from a passenger window. He says police don't know if the rapper or his entourage were targeted, but added that they are cooperating.
Police are identifying the man who was killed as 26-year-old Jowann King, of Flushing, N.Y.
Messages left with the rapper's publicist weren't immediately returned.
