Fundraiser this weekend to benefit Suncoast no-kill shelter

SARASOTA COUNTY - Satchel's Last Resort, a no-kill animal shelter on Clark Road east of I-75, is getting a boost from a Suncoast entertainment star.

The shelter currently cares for 80 dogs, many unadoptable. They rehab those they can, and find homes for them. If the dog is not adoptable, they give it tender loving care for the rest of it's life. The dogs are allowed to run and play over several acres of fenced in land several times a day, and volunteers work with them every day. Satchel's is totally dependent on donations.

So movie star Judy Landers and her two beautiful, bombshell daughters, Kristy and Lindsey, who are a part of a band called "Official Hot Mess" are stepping in to help. Kristy and Lindsey own an event planning company, "A List Events".

They are throwing a fundraiser for Satchel's Saturday at Clayton's Siesta Grill. All the beer and wine you can drink, gourmet buffet, and live entertainment starring Twinkle. All proceeds go to Satchel's Last Resort.
