MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. - Two Suncoast figure skaters are on their way to the Olympic games in Sochi, Russia.

Felicia Zhang and her partner Nathan Bartholomay learned the news Sunday that both will represent the United States in the games.

The pair, who train at the Ellenton Ice Complex in Manatee County, finished in 2nd place in pairs at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Boston on Saturday.

ABC 7’s Rebecca Vargas will have more on their story tonight on ABC 7 News at 5 & 6.

Two skating pairs from the same Ellenton facility competed in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. Mark Ladwig and Amanda Evora placed 10th, while Jeremy Barrett and Caydee Denney finished 13th.
