MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Some local fisherman competing in a tarpon tournament didn't get the winning catch, but got some scary video instead.

After reeling in a tarpon, and then releasing it back into the water, a hammerhead shark decided to swoop in and grab the fish.

It happened off the coast of Anna Maria Island during the White Buffalo Tarpon Tournament Sunday.

Team Caragiulos captured this video of a hammerhead shark chasing the tarpon and eventually getting it. The large shark then swam away.

Now members of the team have a true fish tail to tell.
