This week’s hole is #17 at Mission Valley Country Club. It’s a Par 5 with a length of 491 yards from the gold tees.
Mission Valley was founded in 1967. The original course was designed by David Wallace. The greens and bunkers were re-designed by Ted McAnlis in 1997. In 2003 the fairway bunkers were enhanced and modified by John Sanford. The golf course is set in a manicured, peaceful country setting with several lakes tastefully positioned to provide a scenic view with little potential for major water hazard threats. Accordingly, our challenging tree-lined, championship course was designed to be “walking-friendly” without crossing roads and with the tee boxes located close to the previous green.
