No. 18 on this executive course is a 273 yard par 4 from the back tees. This slight dog leg left has water running down the entire right side of the hole that extends to the back of the green.
There is out of bounds down the left and fairway bunkers on each side of the fairway around the landing area that make for a challenging tee shot where 4 is a good score. The smart play here is to hit into the fairway leaving between 75 -100 yards into the green.
A solid approach shot is key because of bunkering to the right and it wraps around the back of the green. The green itself is large and undulating where a straight putt is hard to find.
One of the features that makes Kings Gate challenging for any player is its undulating greens. At 3182 yards, par 60, the course is short enough for any level of player to enjoy, but challenging enough for the more skilled player.
