VENICE, Fla. -- There is a reason why The Crow's Nest has been a destination waterfront eatery since the 1970's.

A wine list that features Far Niente and many bold beautiful Cabernets, along with a full cocktail list.  Look for aged espresso crusted sirloin with buttermilk onion rings, real fresh Gulf red grouper sandwich, oysters on the half shell, fried oysters and their crab cakes.

Summer offers wine dinners, craft beer pairings, and single malts and cigar night.

A Venice specialty for 40 years with outstanding views.

The Crow's Nest is located at 1968 Tarpon Center Drive in Venice, overlooking Venice Inlet.

It is very upsetting to see this news story because the wrong person is getting credit for the wonderful food. Chef Jonathan has been employed at the Crows Nest for 4 months. You can tell by the interview that there is a lack of knowledge in the food that is being explained. The person that should have gotten credit for the wonderful food is Chef Don Hayley, a loyal employee of the Crow's Nest for 25 years. I am a big fan of ABC news and watch on a regular basis but I am disappointed that the news team did not do further and extensive research on who exactly runs the kitchen at the Crow's Nest and who is responsible for the menu options consumed daily by customers. Chef Judy should be complementing Chef Don instead of Chef Jonathan.
