Just blocks from the beach on S. Tamiami Trail in Venice, this shabby chic beachy theme is quite unique. 

A Culinary Institute of America graduate, Chef Alan plays with his menu, like offerings such as Philly pork rolls and chicken parmesan burgers.  Friday and Saturday nights, dinner is served -- and expect the unexpected, like elk and ostrich with white truffle oil.  Chef Alan's mom makes the homemade desserts.

Blú Island Bistro is located at 625 S. Tamiami Trail in Venice.
