5/13/13 - Chicken pappardelle with sun dried tomatoes

Paparadelle pasta , cooked

4 strips bacon, diced

1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes with oil

4 cups sliced chicken breast, cooked

1Tbsp garlic minced

1tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1/2 cup white wine

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

Salt and pepper

 Pecorino Romano cheese

Fresh basil

In a large sauté pan cook bacons and sun dried tomatoes over medium high heat until bacon is crispy. Add garlic, red pepper, and chicken. Cook for two minutes and deglaze with white wine. Add chicken broth , cream, pasta, and bring to a simmer, about three minutes . Garnish with basil and Romano cheese .
