SARASOTA, Fla. -- Two Sarasota Farmers Market vendors have just submitted posters in the Farmers Market Coalition's poster contest. They are competing against farmers market poster submissions from all corners of the nation that depict a combination of engaging graphics, regional or market identity, and informative messaging.

Phil Pagano, Executive Director/Manager of Sarasota Farmers Market, has managed to get Sarasota city officials, market vendors, Edible Sarasota, and others locally involved in bringing recognition to the Suncoast's longest lived farmers market. They've been a Suncoast tradition now for over 30 years.

Contest entries and winners will be displayed online to inspire and provide beautiful examples for farmers markets country wide. The Sarasota Farmers Market asks, if you're a Facebook user, that you 'like' one or both entries on the Farmers Market Coalition Facebook page. Don't see your local farmers market represented here? Do them a favor and create a poster for entry and submit it at their website.

Here are the voting links to Poster 1 and Poster 2.
