Dangerous stretch of U.S. 41 needs improvements

MANATAEE CO., FL - The Florida Department of Transportation hopes to fix a particularly dangerous stretch of U.S. 41.

The proposal includes lighting and sidewalk improvements that will cost more than $3 million.

Manatee County Commissioners will be discussing the matter at Tuesday's meeting.
