ABC 7 offers Sarasota internship opportunities for full-time college students. Students participate in an intensive, hands on internship covering all departments within ABC 7. Students must have at least 30 credit hours of college level courses, 6 of those hours must be in Communication or Journalism classes. To apply for an internship all applicants must submit an application and essay. The deadlines are as follows:
Summer Semester Internships:
The last week in March
Fall internships:
The Last week in July
Winter Internships:
The week of Thanksgiving
Priority will be given to students graduating within one year, attending a 4-year university and who are committed to pursuing a career in Broadcast News or Production.
