Don got his start in TV with the World Wrestling Federation as a production assistant. In between dodging barbs and jabs from Bobby Heenan and Mean Gene Okerlund, Don was able to help oversee the video archives of the WWF, now WWE. While with the WWF he also worked overnight weekends at WSTC-AM radio in Stamford, CT doing morning sportscasts.
Don then ventured south to Miami where he went to work for the Miami Heat, until the call of radio beckoned once again. He went to work for Sportsradio 560 WQAM in Miami and eventually became the beat reporter for the Florida Marlins and the Miami Heat, while also covering the Dolphins, Panthers and the "U". That work led to his own show, "Talkin' Baseball with Donny B". While still working in radio, Don became the reporter for the Sun-Sentinel High School Sports television show and the television color analyst for Florida Atlantic University basketball(they were 1-20), and the Friday Night Football Game of the Week.
He left South Florida for Southwest Florida and Fort Myers. He was a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor at ABC-7 for almost 5 years.
When he is not working he looks forward to spending time with his 2 boys, Trey and Logan.
