Fallon Silcox is a true Floridian—born and raised in Ft. Myers, FL. It was in the third grade that Fallon decided she wanted to work in TV News after anchoring her elementary school’s newscast—Bear News. Her first news job was as an assignment editor before she even graduated from high school.
While going to school at the University of South Florida, Fallon hosted a children’s program and reported for a weekly news show on Hillsborough County’s government access channel. She says the first time one of her pieces aired, she knew she didn’t want to do anything else. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Fallon moved back to her hometown where she worked her way up from tape editor to reporter.
Fallon is very excited to be here on the Suncoast! She enjoys spending time with friends and family, being on the beach, and playing with her Teacup Yorkie, Sophie. Fallon absolutely loves her job, and all the wonderful people she meets while she’s out covering the news, and she would love to hear from you if you have story ideas, or just want to say “hi”!
