Stephanie Webb is the morning co-anchor and reporter of Good Morning Suncoast on ABC7. Stephanie joined the team in November of 2017.
Prior to joining ABC7, she was the anchor and reporter of Great Day Tampa Bay and Studio 10 Live on 10News in Tampa. Before that, Stephanie spent 11 years as anchor, reporter, and resident film critic at WZZM 13 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She’s a graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan, with a major in Psychology.
After seeing her first movie, “Star Wars,” as a child, she developed a lifelong love of film. She’s been a member of the film/TV critic groups Broadcast Film Critics Association and Broadcast Television Journalist Association since 2010, voting in the annual “Critics Choice Awards.”
She’s travelled abroad to cover the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival, as well as ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” in Los Angeles. Some of her favorite career highlights include sitting down with Princess Diana’s brother, Lord Charles Spencer, at her childhood home in Althorp (England); taking a spin with racing legend Mario Andretti; getting a sushi making lesson with Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto; and sitting down with “Star Wars” legend Harrison Ford.
Stephanie grew up playing softball and cheerleading in both high school and into college. She’s also a sports lover, which includes a lifelong devotion to Detroit Lions and Notre Dame football. She’s also a huge fan of the Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Lightning.
When not at work, you’ll find Stephanie cooking (Italian is her specialty), shopping, working out at the gym, and exploring all the amazing beaches Southwest Florida has to offer. She’s also very involved in the community – so if you see her out and about, feel free to say “hi!”
