Traffic Assistant (Tallahassee, FL)

WTXL ABC 27 and Bounce Tallahassee are currently seeking a Traffic Assistant.

Duties of the position include:

- Entry of contracts and copy

- Entering client advertisements into database

- Entering and revising instructions for ad airing

- Reviewing status of clients’ advertising schedules and managing changes and missing instructions as appropriate

- Communication with Sales Department regarding status of clients’ commercial instructions

- Advising appropriate parties regarding late or missing traffic

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have strong computer and data-entry skills. Must be a detail-oriented self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Experience in a broadcast environment is a plus. Experience with Wide Orbit is preferred.
