We are looking for a seasoned, on-hands evening news anchor with a commanding presence on air; a top notch reporter who is not afraid to get out in the field; a producer who can help with writing and stacking a show as needed; a huge contributor to our website, and social media outlets and a newsroom leader who has made a contribution in their present position, then WAAY needs to see your reel and resume today.

The successful candidate chosen will have at least 3-5 years’ experience on the anchor desk with reporting experience from the field, college degree in Journalism or related field, outstanding producing, writing and on-air delivery skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills required; problem solving abilities, very high work ethics and standards; ability to meet deadlines and detailed oriented. The person chosen must be able to work odd and extended hours and days to complete any assignments or tasks. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
