Congressman Buchanan to hold public town hall Tuesday

SARASOTA, Fla. -- U.S. Congressman Vern Buchanan is inviting the public to a town hall meeting on the New College campus to discuss mental health care services.

The public forum will be held at noon Tuesday at the Sainer Pavilion at New College (5313 Bay Shore Road).

Buchanan will be joined by Congressman Tim Murphy of Pennsylvania, who is a psychologist and one of only a handful of members of Congress with a background in healthcare.

Questions from the public will be taken.

ABC 7 health reporter Alix Redmonde will be there and will have a report tonight on ABC 7 News.

    One of the most corrupt members of congress, that is always re-elected in this republican safe gerrymandered district. He always schedules these so called "town meetings" when no-one but his supporters, the tea party base of elderly voters, can show up.
