VENICE, FL - The community that passed a policy restricting unmarried couples from buying or renting could now be ready to make an about face.

Attorneys for the Casa Di Amici Condo Association plan to meet Thursday to consider repealing the policy.

The restriction gained national media attention when concerned citizens started claiming it discriminated against gay and other unmarried couples.

The current lawyers for the condo association say the policy was poorly drafted by a previous law firm.

7 South Newsroom Reporter Josh Taylor will bring you an update when it becomes available.
