Thurgood is a powerful play based on the life of Justice Thurgood Marshall. From a childhood in the back alleys of Baltimore to the Supreme Court of the United States, Justice Marshall overcame many adversities. A journey of epic proportions, Thurgood is an eye-opening, humorous, and uplifting portrait of a true American hero.

The Thurgood Panel Discussions are for those interested in learning more about the themes of the play and how it relates to society today. The 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement and the 150th Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, entices us to ask: How far have we come? How far do we still have to go?

FST has created an unparalleled community-wide dialogue and panel discussions with community leaders in honor of the play and the anniversaries. The panels were held from 5:30-6:45 pm in FST's Keating Theatre.
