At State College of Florida, Manager of the Fine Art Gallery, Joseph Loccisano and Theatre Director, Ken Erickson put their heads together and came up with an idea to combine visual art and performing art.

They asked all the Suncoast Theatres to submit a beautiful costume made of  recycled, reused and repurposed materials.

And from a short distance away the costumes are stunning. But closer up, you see they are made of coffee filters, gummy bears, broken glass, used bingo cards, and swimming noodles.

"The Art of Costume Reinvented" will be in the Fine Art Gallery at State College of Florida  thru Oct 16.
