8 to 9 inches of Bread (Your choice)

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp corn syrup

French Toast Batter (5 eggs, 1/12 cups half and half, tsp Vanilla Essence)

Whipped Cream (Optional)


In a small saucepan melt butter, brown sugar and corn syrup and stir until smooth. Then pour into bottom of baking dish. Cut the bread into slices and arrange layers in bowl. Add the French toast batter and let sit in refrigerator until fully soaked in. Cook in oven at 350 for approximately 30-40 minutes. Place slices in middle of plate then serve with whipped cream. Syrup is not needed.
