SARASOTA, Fla. - "Philadelphia, Here I Come" opens at the Asolo Friday night. If you're looking for something different, this is it.

It's the story of a young man preparing to leave Ireland for Philadelphia.

Christian Conn plays the young man, and Bernard Balbot plays his innermost thoughts. It's amazing to watch the young man interact with his "conscious' or what ever, as he prepares to leave his family, his country and say good-by to what might have been.  It's funny, it's touching, and it's heart wrenching. Something brand new that you haven't seen before.

Philadelphia, Here I Come runs though April 12th at the Asolo Repertory Theatre.
