You have never heard of Kay Rosaire rescuing a big cat…really?! You really are living in your own world. Perhaps you should channel your twisted obsession with slandering this passionate, remarkable woman towards learning the truth about her work and her impeccable record of providing a safe, clean and loving environment where animals can live out their lives, with care and enrichment. Since 1974, Kay has devoted her life to providing big cats and other exotic animals a safe and permanent home. Her family has always put the animals first. For years, she has dreamed of building a home for her family (she still lives in a trailer on the property), but always along the way, she has chosen to spend her own money on the construction of proper care facilities for the animals, in order to rescue yet another one from an abusive or neglected situation.

The profound love that thousands of friends and animals from all over the world have for Kay Rosaire is a true testament to her character, integrity, and LOVE that she gives to the world. I have read the twisted smear campaign that you have put out all over the internet, and frankly, I don’t know where you find the time to stalk, write such lengthy garbage-editorials, or make up lies about USDA inspection reports. The public should know about USDA aphis website, as under the Sunshine Law, anyone can access all of the USDA reports by requesting them. I have seen the reports and Big Cat Habitat & Gulf Coast Sanctuary has, time and again, received the highest inspection ratings possible.

Kay is too busy tending to the animals in her care to worry about the lies that you put out there. She is an amazing woman knows who she is and the truth about the good that her life’s work represents. She is surrounded by so much love and respect, that your smear campaign hasn’t even registered on her radar to warrant a response. Unfortunately, in our day & age, people believe what they read without taking the time to investigate the facts.
I wondered what kind of evil person would take such time to build websites with the intent to destroy someone’s reputation, and continually stalk and spread lies about someone who has done so much good. One can only guess that you are trying to deflect attention from your own sordid past.

To Linda Carson, thank you for your reporting on this Amazing Woman of the Suncoast!

And to those out there who have ever read the misinformation written by Carole Baskin…..Please, consider the source:

I find it annoying that the press never presses the circus family to actually prove where their animals come from. I have never heard of Kay Rosaire rescuing a big cat. On the contrary, she was quoted at a conference saying of tigers, "Poke 'em real hard with a pitchfork to show 'em who's boss." She has been known to cart tigers all over the country for pay to play sessions circus performances, as well as haul them to 3rd world venues in the belly of barges when the U.S. market started drying up. USDA requires that records be kept for 3 years for acquisitions and dispositions and a real reporter would ask to see those.
