Thanksgiving Event Benefits The Homeless

Local politicians and businessmen come together for a special free, Thanksgiving play and meal as part of the 12th Annual Ministerial Association Celebration on Wednesday, November 27th. The association will host a free Thanksgiving meal and theater luncheon benefit that is open to the public and welcomes the Sarasota homeless residents to be their guests. A free-will offering benefiting the Salvation Army' will be accepted. Some of the notable actors include Mayor Suzanne  Atwell, County Commissioners Carolyn Mason & Joe Barbetta, City Commissioner Paul Cariguilo, Former Mayor Lou Anne Palmer and yes, our very own Pedro Reis, Founder and CEO of The CAC. The celebration runs from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Martha's Parish Hall, 200 Orange Ave North in Sarasota. For more information call 941-724-5018
