Wicked Water Panel Discussion

As part of the Ordinary and Extraordinary – An Architecture of Heightened Awareness exhibit at Center for Architecture Sarasota, a trio of award-winning architects and professors present a panel discussion entitled “Wicked Water.” Brooks + Scarpa principal Jeffrey Huber, AIA LEED AP will lead the discussion. He is part of the team recently honored with the 2018 AIA Honor Award for Regional & Urban Design for “Salty Urbanism: Sea Level Rise Adaptation Strategies for Urban Areas.” Joining him are Keith Van de Reit, AIA PhD, recognized for his innovative work in creating and engineering structures to better protect coastal communities against erosion and rising sea levels, and Tim Rumage, environmentalist and professor at Ringling College of Art and Design.
