The Selby Gardens 9th Annual Instructors' Summer Showcase
As one of America’s most renowned botanical gardens, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens offers horticultural classes throughout the year on various plant care and gardening related subjects.
Selby also offers fun and diverse classes guaranteed to simulate your creative side. In addition to the prestigious Academy of Botanical Arts; which offers a certificate program in Botanical Illustration, additional class subjects include Beading, Cooking, Creative Writing, Ikebana (flower arranging), Mask Painting, Nature Printing, Paper-making, Photography, Stained Glass, Sumi-e Painting, Watercolor Painting, Yoga, and more.
This annual exhibit and sale showcases the artwork of many of Selby’s talented instructors and gives you a preview of the fun and interesting experiences waiting for you at the Gardens every week.
Meet the Artist Sessions
If you are curious about Selby's art classes, please join us at our weekly "Meet the Artist" sessions where you have an opportunity to meet our art instructors on Saturday afternoons throughout this exhibit.

August 30: Karen J. Schunk; "Monet's Water Garden", "Heade's Fantastic Florida"; Masters Inspired Classes
