About Your Speaker
Marcel Bauduin is a California native and has lived in Sarasota for five years. He has a bachelor's degree in Sociology from University of California at Santa Cruz and an associate's degree in Hospitality/Culinary Management from Le Cordon Bleu at the California Culinary Academy. He's worked in radio since 2003. Locally, he worked at WSLR 96.5 FM/100.1 FM WBPV for five years as the host of Beats, Rhymes & Life Radio a Funk, Soul & Hip-Hop show.
Currently, Marcel is co-host of the radio show Coffee & Donuts and is Programming Coordinator for WSRQ 106.9 FM, 98.3 FM & 1220 AM. He is also the producer/editor of multiple talk radio shows and is the co-founder and curator of the music and art show series Art, Rhymes & Beer, as well as the educational series Art, Rhymes & Kids.
Additionally, Marcel has internet startup experience working for Yelp in 2008 as a sales executive. His passions are Hip-Hop music & culture, food/cooking, art and sarcasm.
