The Sarasota neighborhood of Lido Shores is a treasure chest of midcentury and contemporary modern architectural gems. Enjoy an informative and inspiring tour of seven significant homes designed by Philip Hiss, William Rupp, Edward “Tim” Seibert, Joe Kelly, Gwen Kelly, Jerry Sparkman, Guy Peterson and Ralph and William Zimmerman. Featuring talks by architects, historians and homeowners throughout the afternoon.
Tour at your own pace from 1 to 4 pm. Advance ticket holders may check-in at any house and receive wristband, map and bottled water. Day-of tickets are on sale at the Umbrella House (1300 Westway Drive, Sarasota, FL 34236).
Tour participants are required to remove their shoes or wear provided booties at the houses. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and hats. Bottled water will be provided.
Westway Drive and Center Place lot. On street parking will also be available, please do not block driveways.
