Digging Up Discoveries Fossil Exhibit

The Venice Museum and Archives is shining a spotlight on this area’s amazing ancient creatures, from both land and sea in its newest exhibit Digging Up Discoveries: Southwest Florida Fossils.

The exhibit is part of the museum’s “Community Curators” series in which area organizations are invited to work with the museum to create an exhibit.

Digging Up Discoveries features more than 350 fossils collected by members of the Manasota Fossil Club and Southwest Florida Fossil Society.

The exhibit runs through June 4. Also open the first and third Saturdays of the month from 10:00-2:00 through April 19
