Sarasota, Fla. -- Boomerswork and All Faiths Food Bank are partnering to host the CEO Challenge in support of the CASH program (Campaign Against Summer Hunger). The CASH program is designed to bring food to the families of children, who are signed up through the school system for free and reduced lunches.
The CEO Challenge is an event where local leaders in our community contribute their time doing hands on work at All Faiths Food Bank. They will be packing bags of groceries, separating donated items, and going through fresh vegetable and fruit donations for those families in need of food, while school is out. Working side by side with other company leaders, partners and employees, local leader will help to fill gaps in volunteer hours at the food bank.
The event first serves to help the families and children in need, and also provides the opportunities for participants to share the information and experience with members of their own organizations, so they can get involved as well. The event is Thursday, July 17 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at All Faiths Food Bank @ 8171 Blaikie Ct, Sarasota, FL 34240
Sponsoring the event with All Faiths Food Bank is a local company, Boomerswork.
