Bradenton couple arrested on charges of child neglect

BRADENTON, FL- A Bradenton couple is behind bars facing multiple charges after police say they passed out in their vehicle leaving their two children in the back seat, hot  and with the vehicle engine running.

It happened at the 5000 block of 26th St. E. in Bradenton around 6 p.m. Thursday night.  According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, the driver Brandy Joule and Brian Emery were found passed out in their vehicle with the engine running while their two children were in the back seat sweating.  Drugs and hypodermic needles were found in the vehicle. 

Joule and Emery were arrested. The children were taking into the custody of Child Protective Services.
