VENICE, Fla. - The city of Venice is keeping a closer eye on area parks.

Six new security cameras have been installed at Centennial Park as a way to deter vandalism.  Four more cameras will soon be put up at the Venice fishing pier and South Jetty.

The cameras came about after recently renovated restrooms at Centennial Park were vandalized, costing the city thousands in repairs.
