Jess Doudrick

Jess Doudrick traveled a thousand miles south to join the ABC 7 team as a Multi-Media Journalist. Jess is a Pennsylvania native, born and raised in York. Most recently, she lived in Erie, one of the snowiest cities in America! That’s where she started her reporting career with WJET-TV. There she was the City Hall/Police beat reporter, but also covered everything from President Trump’s visits to the circus in town. Jess’s passion for journalism started long before her career. When she was just 8-years-old, she already knew she wanted to be reporter and would talk her little sister Jenna into making mock broadcasts with her in their living room. As Jess grew up, her passion for the industry only strengthened and her dreams became reality. Jess attended Millersville University where she majored in Broadcast Journalism. She also spent a semester abroad in Queensland, Australia. G’Day mate! When she isn’t at work, you’ll catch Jess hanging out with her one-eyed rescue cat Ollie (She’s a proud cat mom). You can find plenty of Ollie pictures by following Jess on Facebook and on Twitter. Jess loves ALL animals and asks to pet almost every dog she sees. Jess is a HUGE Philadelphia Eagles fan, and if she sees you out and about in your Eagles gear, chances are she’ll say hello. Jess loves to travel and is always up for a new adventure. So if you have any must sees or dos, let her know! And of course, Jess loves a good story.
