Jackie Kelly

Jackie Kelly joined ABC7 in June of 2018 as a Multimedia Journalist. She is happy to have traded in her snow boots for flip flops since she most recently worked as a reporter at KVRR Local News in the cold city of Fargo, North Dakota. Jackie enjoys bringing "feel good" stories to the community. Some memorable interviews she conducted in Fargo were with Chad Coleman from The Walking Dead, NHL Stanley Cup Champion Matt Cullen, and Twiggy the Waterskiing Squirrel. Jackie is originally from Doylestown, Pa. She is a 2016 graduate from Rutgers University where she received a B.A. in Journalism and Media Studies along with a minor in Digital Communication, Information, and Media. While in school, she interned at CNN/HLN in New York City and News 12 New Jersey in Edison, New Jersey. Along with interning, she worked at Rutgers University Television Network where she was the host of the segments "Paint the Town Scarlet" and "What’s On RU-TV". In her free time, Jackie enjoys cooking, doing yoga and Pilates, and going to the beach.
