BRADENTON (WWSB)- Today, Miss Bradenton Teen USA 20118, Noelia Voigt, is visiting Bayshore High School to speak to her peers about teenage dating violence.

The 18-year old visits middle schools and high schools in the area and runs a work shop in connection with the "One Love" Foundation, which "works to ensure everyone understands the difference between a healthy and unhealthy relationship."

She talks to students about what to do if they have a friend, or loved one in an abusive relationship.

Abusive relationships can start as early as 14 years old, which is why she says she starts at middle schools. She says it's important to learn about the signs early on and she gets a lot of questions from students after her presentations.

Voigt says her next goal is to visit Tallahassee to try and get a law passed to incorporate her workshop into health classes across the state.

She'll also be competing for the miss Florida teen title next month.
