GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Police say the final residents of a large Gainesville homeless encampment will be evicted after complaints of drugs and criminal activity. The so-called "Tent City" is expected to be cleared by midnight (Tuesday).

LANTANA, Fla. (AP) — Three children are recovering after being bitten by dogs in Palm Beach County. A spokesman for the Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control says it wasn't clear how many dogs bit the children last night.

VIERA, Fla. (AP) — The assistant public defender who scuffled with a judge in the hallway of a central Florida courtroom has resigned. In a resignation letter submitted yesterday, Andrew Weinstock says he disagrees with his boss's support of Judge John C. Murphy returning to the bench after a leave of absence following the June 2 altercation.

ROCKLEDGE, Fla. (AP) — Thousands of gallons of Red Bull spilled onto Interstate 95 in central Florida after two tractor-trailers collided. The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened last night near Rockledge.
