ABC 7 Facility

The ABC 7 studios are centrally located in the heart of downtown Sarasota at the corner of 10th Street and Lemon Avenue.

The building was completed in November 2001 and the location was chosen because of its ideal proximity to Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte Counties.

Only minutes away from I-75, our news crews are positioned to respond to breaking news as well as gathering news in your backyard.

The building houses state-of-the art digital technology for the ultimate in news gathering capabilities.

ABC 7 Studios

The ABC 7 newscasts are broadcast live from our 10th Street location.

The studio is designed to adapt to all types of news and production environments.

A variety of newscast are done live here as well as commercial, promotion and community affairs production.

Cameras are operated robotically symbolizing a new trend in the industry.

ABC 7 Newsroom

The Newsroom is where ABC 7's reporters, anchors, producers and editors work each day putting together the stories that you see on all of our newscasts.

Each work station features state of the art newsgathering software that coordinates the flow of information, video and graphic elements.

It is also where our Assignment Manager is stationed to monitor television news, police scanners and check press releases that are faxed and emailed to the station.
