SIESTA KEY-    Hundreds of activists gathered on Siesta Key Saturday, at the same time demonstrations were staged around the world to send what they're calling an "aerial art message." 

Suncoast residents are sending their message to Rep. Vern Buchanan.  The message is, "time is running out to save the planet."  Some demonstrators formed an hour glass, while others walked from top to bottom of the glass to create an image of falling grains of sand, depicting the rapid passage of time.

Demonstrators say global warming is the greatest environmental threat facing the planet today.
