SUNCOAST - Tuesday is Election Day on the Suncoast, as residents in Venice and Manatee County head to the polls.
Voters in Venice will get a chance to pick two new city council members.
Four people are on the ballot running for seats 3 and 4. For Seat 3, Emilio Carlesimo and Ted Koszarski have filed to run. For Seat 4, James Bennett and Harry Walia are on the ballot.
Several key seats are on the ballot in Manatee County on Tuesday as well. Five candidates are running for city commission in the City of Anna Maria.
For the City of Bradenton, wards 2, 3, and 4 will be decided. In the city of Bradenton Beach, the mayor's position is on the ballot. Voters in the city of Holmes Beach are being asked to pick three people to serve on the city commission.
Polls are open from 7 am until 7 pm.
