Parrish man killed in motorcycle crash

MANATEE COUNTY - A Parrish man is killed in a motorcycle crash early Friday morning.

It happened at 12:30am at Old Tampa Road and Phillips Road in Manatee County.

Troopers say 46-year-old John Lang was on his motorcycle travelling east on Old Tampa Road. He went on the shoulder, hit a mailbox, a wooden post and was ejected.

He was not wearing a helmet.
