SARASOTA - It is day two in the Michael King murder trial.

On Tuesday, the jury heard from Jane Kowalski. She made a 911 call after hearing screams and seeing someone struggle on U.S. 41 the night Denise Amber Lee was killed.

Mrs. Kowalski described in detail for the court what she saw, heard, and tried to do on January 17, 2008.

Kowalski made the infamous 911 call, which many believe was botched by emergency operators. She described seeing a dark Camaro on US 41 in North Port while sitting at a stoplight. She also talked about the loud screams and banging on the inside of the window coming from the car. At one point Kowalski even pointed out King in the courtroom as the man she saw shove someone down in the backseat.

"I am sitting at the light and looked over I made eye contact wonder what on earth is going on in that car with...with that man over there. He turned around and started going like this in the back seat, pushing like this...something down in the back seat," says Kowalski.

The jury then heard the actual 911 that Kowalski made.

ABC 7 was told Monday by the family that we would be hearing a recording of the 911 call made by Denise Lee while she was being abducted. However, on Tuesday, the family filed a motion to block the media from publishing the call. That motion was withdrawn after talking with the judge.

Then came the 911 call from Denise Lee that some have wanted to hear and many have wanted to avoid. Out of all of the horror it was the one thing many in Lee's family worried about hearing the most.

Her mother and other family members left the courtroom. The recording was then played. Lee's father, Rick Goff, stared straight ahead and Michael King sat emotionless looking down.

For six minutes Lee pleads to be let go. A voice in the background asks repeatedly where his phone is. You can also hear radio being played in the background. The 911 operator asked questions to Lee as she tries to answer without letting her abductor know she is on the phone.

Denise Lee:  "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I just want to go. I just want to see my family. I just want to see my family again, please. Oh, please. I just want to see my family again. Let me go. Please let me go."

Lee tries to give details about where she is. Her eyes are concealed. She's trying to give as much as she can without letting her abductor know she's on the phone.

911 Operator: "Can you tell at all what street you are on?"

Denise Lee: "No."

911 Operator: "Do you know this guy that is with you?"

Denise Lee: "No."

911 Operator: "You don't know him from anywhere?"

Denise Lee: "No, Please, oh God, help me."

"I want her to be remembered for the person she was and all the other things that she did to get this person caught. Hopefully convicted. I don't want her to be remembered for the horrifying 911 call that she made," says Denise's husband, Nathan Lee.

Other witnesses who took the stand Tuesday included the 911 operator who took Kowalski's call, a crime scene technician and an employee of AT&T.
