MANATEE COUNTY - A semi-truck crashed into an I-75 guardrail on the Trooper Jeff Young Bridge Tuesday night.

The bridge is located over the Manatee River near Ellenton.

Troopers say the driver of the semi was going north on the interstate and did not stop quick enough for traffic. He swerved to avoid the cars and hit the concrete barrier wall. Part of the truck's cab was left hanging over the wall.

Some fuel spilled onto the roadway and into the Manatee River.

No one was hurt. The driver was charged with reckless driving.
