Gobi Palak

Curry Station

4 to 5 serving

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cauliflower head (cut into small pieces)
  • ½ lb Spinach (blanch and lightly puree)
  • 3 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seed
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped green chili (optional)
  • ½  piece Onion Chopped
  • 2 piece Tomato Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Dry fenugreek leaves
  • ½ teaspoon Garam masala
  • ½ cup Cream (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Butter ( optional)
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat The Pan and add oil,Add cumin and let it crackle and add garlic and ginger and let it get golden color.
  2. Add Chopped onion and sauté  until it gets light golden color.
  3. Add Cauliflower and sauté until gets golden color and add chopped tomato and green chile, sauté few minutes.
  4. Add all the spices  and stir well then add Spinach puree and cook for few minutes.
  5. Add cream and butter cook for another few minutes and check the seasoning.
  6. Ready to serve with Rice or bread.
