SARASOTA (WWSB) - A cold front attached to the major winter storm that moved across the United States over the weekend has passed south of the Suncoast. High pressure will build over the next few days and cooler air will spill into the Suncoast. Highs will run about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday and over the next three or four days will be five or six degrees below the average. Night time lows will be chilly and fall into the upper 40′s. However, skies will be sunny and the winds will die down so, if you are not bothered by the below average temperatures, the week will feature pleasant weather.
For those that like it warmer the second half ot the work week is for you. Temperatures will return to the 70′s by Thursday and hold there into Sunday. Another front will arrive by Sunday with a good chance for showers. That front will once again lower temperatures into the 60′s for highs and upper 40′s for lows.
