One woman dead after an unforeseen medical episode caused a fatal car collision in Sarasota

SARASOTA, Fl (WWSB) - One woman is pronounced dead after a fatal car collision in Sarasota.

On Friday morning, around 9 a.m. one woman collided with two other vehicles on CR 765 Jacaranda Blvd/US 41 in Sarasota County.

Sandra Kemper, 68, of Placida spun her car out of control due to a medical episode which caused the crash, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Kemper drove through a red light on Jacaranda Blvd while the driver of the second vehicle Yuriy Tabakov, 20, of North Port was about to turn left facing a green tuning light.

Laura Robinson,75, of Venice was driving the third vehicle when he stopped at a red traffic light on US 41.

Kemper hit Tabakov in the side of his car and Kemper’s car spun around and hit the front of Robinson’s car in the left lane of US 41.

After both cars were hit, Kemper’s car continue to move uncontrollably and finally stopped in a right turn lane on US 41.

Tabako’s car also spun around and stopped at an intersection.

As the crash remains under investigation, Kemper was pronounced dead on Fri. Jan. 11.
