First Alert Weather: The chill is on for one more night and then a weekend warm-up
Cold start but mild finish Friday

SARASOTA (WWSB) - Another morning to wear your jacket or sweater on Friday morning as lows will be in the low to mid 40s. With a wind out of the NE at 5-10 mph in the morning, it will feel more like the upper in 30s in places along the Suncoast.

First Alert Weather WWSB 5:30 p.m. 1/10/2019

There will be plenty of sunshine on Friday with temperatures warming up by the afternoon. Should be a real nice afternoon with highs near 70. Not as cold Friday night Saturday morning as the lows will be in the upper 50s to start the day.

Beach weather returns just in time for the weekend as the winds veer around more toward the ESE. This along with partly cloudy skies will crank the temperatures back above average. The average high is 71 degrees and highs on both days will be around 75.

There is a weak cold front which will head our way Saturday night but will fall apart and should not do much to spoil the weekend as it will fall apart and fade away. A stronger cold front will have enough energy to push through the Suncoast Monday morning chilling the Suncoast out once again.

Monday’s front will once again not have a lot of moisture to work with so I am not expecting anything more than a passing shower and even that is remote at this time. Look for a cool start to the work week with highs in the mid to upper 60s through Wednesday but with plenty of sunshine.
