SARASOTA (WWSB) - The St. Armands Business Improvement District is moving ahead on building two facilities on either side of the circle. Property owners will pay for architecture, engineering and construction while the City of Sarasota would be responsible for annual maintenance.
“We’re just pleased to have progress on this project. St. Armands Circle is a jewel that needs public restrooms. There’s going to be two opened with the new public garage in late January so this would be in addition to that,” said Sarasota Economic Development Manager Susan Dodd.
Dodd says the project would most likely begin next year, after the season.
